All Patient and Public Information Policies developed by provider organisations must be adhered to at all times. Each Multi-Disciplinary Team must identify a named person responsible for Information delivery within the relevant tumour site. Cancer Networks and NHS Trusts providing cancer services should nominate a lead for cancer information. The Trust-level lead should ensure coherence across types of cancer. He or she should be responsible for ensuring that up-to-date materials are available and that patients actually receive them. What next !: What next ! Further pathway work – Gynae – Renal Generic pathway – Chemotherapy - Radiotherapy Palliative Care - End of Life pathway SCN - Resource directory /web site Develop missing resources Develop information record / audit tool SCN – strategy on patient information – to keep ‘live’!
