In September 2006, the Undecided/Undeclared Advising Program at UCI launched our new “Ask an Advisor!” service, which allows students to e-mail or instant message their questions through the AOL Instant Messenger program. More than 25% of our students, many of whom are repeat users, have already utilized the service. Based on its demand, we hope to formalize and expand “Ask an Advisor!” in the near future.:

Peer academic advisor and discussion leader applications for the Undecided/Undeclared Advising Program at UCI increases by more than 200%, thanks to Facebook advertising! While other campus offices had much lower application numbers, we received the highest number of applications for both positions in the history of the program!:

We’re bursting at the seams! With the anticipated growth of the Undecided/Undeclared Advising Program at UCI and its popularity in both the freshman and sophomore populations, our office is being expanded and expected to double in space starting early 2008!:
