Ancient Rome Chapter 7

Fun Facts About Ancient Rome:

Fun Facts About Ancient Rome Some Roman buildings smelled terrible because they were not regularly cleaned. Romans would burn bread in an attempt to remove the smell. In his portraits Julius Caesar wore a wreath on his head to hide his baldness! Boudicca was said to ride in a horse-drawn chariot and would slice the heads off her victims as she rode past. The Romans invented camouflage - sailors in the Roman navy wore blue clothes to match the colour of the sea

I am soaked to the bone, being a soldier is really hard work, I wish I was home right now. I do have some Good news, I am no longer a foot soldier! Which means now instead of walking all 20 miles, now I can ride on the donkey to get a break. I am a scout now! Can you believe I’ve been a soldier for 15 years now, I am more than half way through my service! Only 10 more years to go, I sure hope I survive….
