Mega Activity: 

9 Mega Activity District Governor Lion Prin. Dr. Rajendra Shah is interested in organizing Mega Blood Donation Camp on 13th January 2008, the birth day of Lion Melvin Jones, the founder of Lionism. All clubs in the District are requested to participate in this Mega Activity and organise Blood Donation camp at their respective places.

EVALUATION: 

10 EVALUATION Each and every activity will be given basic 10 points. Monthly report received at the District Activity Chairman’s office, before 10th of the succeeding month will attract 20 prompt reporting points for that particular month. (not per activity)

Following activities will attract 20 extra points (This is not applicable to the clubs conducting following activities through their permanent Project):

Eye Ball Collection Rehabilitation of blind / handicapped Immunization / Vaccine Organizing exhibition Computer education Adoption of students / schools / village etc. Disaster relief Participating in Peace Poster Contest Organizing youth camp Organizing youth exchange Programme

Permanent Project: 

12 Permanent Project Clubs conducting activities under their permanent project will get 100 marks per month of activity reported.

Club will get maximum 20 bonus points for each activity. Evaluation of the service activity for giving bonus points will be done on the following basis:

14 Clubs participating in the District’s Mega Blood Donation Camps on 13th January 2008 will be awarded 20 extra special points.

Reporting: 

15 Reporting There is no limitation on the number of service projects per month. mention both money and man-hours involved in each activity. For reporting activities conducted through home clubs’ permanent project, please use separate reporting sheet. One Service project / composite activity will be reported under one head only.

Awards: 

16 Awards Activity Contest will be conducted in following two groups. Group A : Clubs having membership strength up to 30 Group B : Clubs having membership strength of 31 and above First two clubs from each group will be considered for the District Outstanding Award (Activity). At District level two Clubs from the entire strength will be selected for the Best & Runners-up (Activity). Selection of Best & Runners-up (Activity) award will be done on the basis of 1. Remarks & recommendation by ZC. & RC. 2. Reports submitted by the clubs to the DAC. 3. Remarks & recommendation by District Governor according to his observation during the club visit and the reports / information received at the district headquarter.
