Slide 8:

Hello! My name is Jamie Hooker; my students call me Mrs. H. I am a first year teacher at Two Rivers Middle School. I am teaching art this year and loving it. I am married to Zach Hooker and have two sons. Dakota just turn 10 and is in the 5th grade. (He is an incredible artist and very excited about being my student.) Dalton will be 6 in November. He is enjoying the new play ground at the kindergarten. I have four sisters. They are all teachers. I am the last to join the ranks. My oldest sister teaches band and runs the EAST program, she also has two masters. My second sister teaches upper level science and has a master in chemistry. My third sister teaches family consumer sciences. My baby sister taught 5th grade math last year and is a middle school counselor this year. She has been working on her masters for 18 months and I should graduate before her, which really bothers her. I have the privilege to work with two of my sisters. Some of the teachers cannot tell us apart which is a real laugh. My other two sister work in the Danville Middle School which is the closes school to Two Rivers. My classroom is really nice. I share the room with the other art teacher. She teaches K-4th and Art 1 and Art 2. The front half of the room is mine. I have a spectacular view. I look forward to the construction of the new football field being completed. When the weather cools off I will take my classes outside to draw.
