Japan’s Reasons: 

Japan’s Reasons Japan wanted more land and wealth. the U.S.A. wanted to stop Japan. the U.S. Navy was the only force strong enough to beat the Japanese.

Why attack Pearl Harbour?: 

Why attack Pearl Harbour? Pearl Harbour was the main U.S. Naval base for the Pacific. if the fleet at Pearl Harbour could be destroyed, the U.S.A. would not be able to stop Japan’s plans.

2,402 Americans were killed in the attack. Over 1,000 more were seriously injured. The attack lasted less than two hours.
