Programs teach concepts relating to entrepreneurship, financial literacy, and work readiness. Slide 3: Elementary School Program Kindergarten-Ourselves 1st Grade-Our Families 2nd Grade-Our Community 3rd Grade-Our City 4th Grade-Our Region 5th Grade-Our Nation Slide 4: In the 2009/2010 school year, Junior Achievement will serve: more than 4,500 students in 226 classrooms within 18 Fargo, Moorhead and West Fargo schools 250 business volunteers will teach the JA curriculum Elementary School Program In Fargo, Moorhead and West Fargo Slide 5: How is Junior Achievement funded? It costs $509 to bring Junior Achievement into each classroom. Junior Achievement raises money for programs from corporate and individual gifts, grants and special event fundraisers.
