Premium member Presentation Transcript Regional Collaborative Planning: Regional Collaborative Planning Discussion With the previous presentation as an example, what can we do to further adapt SERPPAS mission, vision, values, frameworks, and approaches to support mutual mission accomplishment and foster successful regional collaborative planning?NC DENR/MCIEASTLand Use Partnership: NC DENR/MCIEAST Land Use Partnership Overarching Themes: Eastern NC and SE experiencing rapid growth USMC is proposed to increase in end-strength Incompatible resource use impedes USMC training Economic growth must continue and is integral to overall solution set Look for opportunities that provide for mutual benefits to multiple partners Principles must be Scalable and Exportable throughout the Southeast Region Foundational Goals: Minimize environmental restriction on USMC installations, as feasible Reduce/eliminate/prevent incompatible resource use around USMC installation’s land, air and sea-space Planning Factors: Look well beyond installation boundaries Consider the impacts associated with the frequency spectrum Look at potential impacts of future weapon systems Identify land, air, and sea-space incompatibilitiesRegional Collaborative Planning: Regional Collaborative Planning SERPPAS NC framework.
