Give yourself the best chance It is never easy to tell how an interview is going to go. There will be times when the words come easily and you find it easy to build a rapport with your interviewer. On other occasions, it may be a struggle gaining momentum. While you can never fully guarantee a successful interview, there are still a number of steps you can take to give yourself the best possible chance. Running through some possible job interview questions is one of these. Delivering prompt and precise responses will show that you have thought about the role you are applying for and boost your overall chances of landing the job.

What qualities do you think you could bring to our business?

Career-based questions: 1 Why did you choose a career in [ ]? What qualifications do you possess? Is there any training you are looking to undertake in the near future? What does teamwork mean to you? What have you done in your career that shows initiative?

Career-based questions: 2 Are you willing to be flexible in your work hours? What are your main strengths and weaknesses? How good are you at prioritising your workload? Where do you see yourself in 5 years’ time? What are your salary requirements? How many sick days have you taken in the past year?

Personal questions : 

Personal questions Could you tell me a bit about yourself? What are your hobbies? How would you describe yourself in three words? Is it easy for you to get to our office? How do you evaluate success? Are you willing to relocate? What style of management do you prefer? Do you have any questions?
