And so presenters continue to bore audiences by dumping uninteresting facts and mind-boggling numbers and charts on their slides. Do you want to be a good storyteller? An example from a conference Can you see this? Imagine trying to read this on a large screen at a conference. After a while it becomes very difficult to read. The speaker read the slides and had so many points in sentence format that it became extremely difficult to listen to what they were saying. This just went on and on. The more you try to fit on one slide, the smaller the font becomes. Unfortunately the speaker didn’t consider this when they prepared the slides. And so it continued until I stopped listening altogether and started considering how I could escape…
