Essie the flamingo burst into Chuck’s home to tell him about a dance competition. She wanted Chuck to find someone to dance with her. NEXT PAGE

Slide 4:

Did she choose Doodle? Did she choose Chuck? PRESS ON THE CORRECT PICTURE ABOVE Chuck organized the farmyard for dancing and Snorty and his boy band played the music. Who did Essie decide she would dance with at the competition?

Oh dear! BACK TO THE STORY Doodle is not right for Essie to dance with. He keeps falling over!

Well done! So Chuck and Essie went to the big city park where the dance competition took place. NEXT PAGE

Did he go back to the farm? Did he carry on dancing? PRESS ON THE CORRECT PICTURE ABOVE As Chuck and Essie were dancing, his mobile phone started to ring. His father Ducktor Dad said help was needed. What did Chuck do?

Oh dear! BACK TO THE STORY Chuck would never keep on dancing if he heard that Ducktor Dad needed his help. Chuck is a caring and thoughtful duck!

Oh dear! BACK TO THE STORY The farm animals liked playing with the water. They would never have used the water for anything else.

Mr. Farmer had used the pond water for the crops in the field. The animals got hot and bothered and started arguing and throwing rubbish at each other! NEXT PAGE Well done!

Was Doodle very nervy? Was Doodle happy? PRESS ON THE CORRECT PICTURE OF DOODLE ABOVE Scary Scarecrow got so angry he left! So Chuck told Doodle told to find Scary Scarecrow. What did Doodle think about this?

Oh dear! BACK TO THE STORY Every time Doodle sees Scarecrow he gets very, very nervy. It doesn’t matter if Scary Scarecrow is smiling or angry -- Doodle always thinks he will blow a rude raspberry noise!

In fact, Doodle got so nervy when Chuck told him to find Scary Scarecrow that he fell over. His legs just wouldn’t stop shaking! NEXT PAGE Well done!

To save water? To use more water? PRESS ON THE CORRECT PICTURE ABOVE Chuck met with Mr. Farmer to talk about the water missing from the pond as well as the water needed for the fields. What did Chuck tell Mr. Farmer?

Oh dear! BACK TO THE STORY Chuck is always looking for good new ideas - maybe you can think of some! Chuck had lots of ideas of how to save water so that there could be lots for both the animals to play in and for Mr. Farmer to use on the fields.

All the animals on the farm helped to make certain water was saved from leaky pipes. They also cleared up all the rubbish. NEXT PAGE Well done!

Did Essie kick him on the bum? Did Doodle ask him nicely? PRESS ON THE CORRECT PICTURE ABOVE Doodle and Essie searched all over the countryside and finally found Scary Scarecrow, but how did they manage to get his attention?

Oh dear! BACK TO THE STORY Scary Scarecrow just looked at Doodle and never said anything. Doodle only mumbled a few words to Scary Scarecrow because he wanted to get away from him as quickly as possible.

So nervy Doodle ran off with Essie and Scary Scarecrow was after them! NEXT PAGE Well done!

Did he get cross with Doodle and Essie? Did he make a very rude noise? PRESS ON THE CORRECT PICTURE ABOVE Scary Scarecrow chased Doodle and Essie all the way back to the farm, until Chuck stood in his way. What did Scary Scarecrow do next?

Oh dear! BACK TO THE STORY Scary Scarecrow couldn’t be cross and finally smiled, because Chuck said they wanted him back again. After all the farm was his home too.

Scary Scarecrow turned to Doodle and blew the biggest, loudest and longest raspberry that’s ever been heard! Doodle fell over with the shock. NEXT PAGE Well done!

By saving water Mr. Farmer managed to fill the pond again. NEXT PAGE Also, Chuck was pleased to see the animals put all the litter in the re-cycling bins.

PRESS ON THE CORRECT PICTURE ABOVE Essie was pleased as well, but upset she hadn’t been in the dance competition. However, Chuck had a surprise for her. Was it a party with lots of dancing? Was it a cup of tea?

Oh dear! BACK TO THE STORY Chuck could make a cup of tea, but he wasn’t very good at it. Molly the moorhen was the expert at making tea and healthy drinks and food!

In the farm yard, the band was ready to play. “Let’s show them how to do it!” Chuck quacked to Essie and everyone was amazed at how good they were. NEXT PAGE Well done!
