Dear Friends!peace be unto you!I have uploaded the files of the preface of the book "Journalistic History of Shikarpur“
[شڪارپور جي صحافتي تاريخ] written, compiled and researched by Dr.Anwar Figar Hakro..whose preface was written by our famous writer Agha Saleem.All friends are requested to write their comments and ideas regarding the history of Shikarpur, trends and other important things. I wrote the following caption with the preface, while sharing the preface to the “My Shikarpur منهنجي شڪارپور group on face book:"Journalistic History of Shikarpur" this book was written by Dr.Anwar Figar Hakro.The book depicts the history of society, its problems, development, political issues, ups and downs. This is really a historical document, not only Shikarpuri people should go through it, but every one who is interested in the history of Sindh should read it to add to one's information and knowledge. It is another thing, the writer missed so many things, instead this, the book gives very much insight, knowledge and information about District Shikarpur's Journalistic Development, Trends and many other things. I have gone through it and I appreciate Dr.Anwar for writing this book. I would say one more thing, the book is totally informative but the preface of the book was written by famous writer, dramatist, novelist, poet and translator of Latif Sain in Urdu and English "Agha Saleem“ is unique.
The preface is another document which really gives very nice information, our people have forgotten the history and specially he has written over some events and their back grounds, some words and their history and origin. That is why, I am sharing this to all of the people, who have not gone through the book yet.Hope this will really amaze people, what Shikarpur was. lets read the preface written by Agha Saleem."Hisam Memon
