System also used by Legal Council of NYSLRS for arbitration, disputes and records of these activities NY State and Local Retirement System Disability Claims Administration for Civil Service and Public Safety Employees FileNet System resolves a number of functional and pandemic problems related to process claims.  These were related to provenance and spoliation of records, lost records, the policy of making and disbursing "splits" or Xerox copies of records and then failing to reconstitute the records.  FileNet Content Services is used to host scanned images of claims forms, health information release forms, medical board review notes and other pertinent information.

New York City Office of the Medical Examiner: 

On Pier 94 - within 90 hours of WTC attack, FileNet had an Imaging System and two scan stations up and running. Bereavement Workers will able to access and add data to the Medical Examiner files and be able to secure, confirm and communicate positive identifications to the families of the those souls lost in this attack much more quickly than a manual process would allow. Within 2 weeks of attack – FileNet system capturing all information in the case file and being used by Police and Medical Examiner to review and identify missing.
