It was cool though. Little hunks Of algebra Blasting apart Sparks shooting out In every Direction A tiny star Going nova Then the pieces Fluttering Down like a Beautiful confetti Parade for Einstein I lit the fuse and watched it burn down. The rocket went up very nicely , flying in a graceful arc up over the garage, heading toward the front yard. Then it exploded. I’d wrapped my sister’s math homework around the tube.

I am so Grounded. And my parents made me apologize to my sister. But it’s not all bad. Now she is not talking to me.
