LOOKING BACK AT YOUR PRELIMINARY TASK, WHAT DO YOU FEEL YOU HAVE LEARNT IN THE PROGRESSION FROM IT TO FULL PRODUCT? Looking back at my college magazine, it looks very simple and plain. There isn’t much to the magazine and is very boring. I think I have learnt many things during creating my magazine: designing and placing skills, Photoshop skills and how to use InDesign. Before starting this project I wasn’t that great with my Photoshop skills and InDesign I had no idea how to use, now I am able to do a lot more than I used to be able to use. When I started my college magazine I didn’t really know what to include on a magazine or how to start the project. After trying out first with the college magazine, we then went on to our music magazine and I was able to start somewhere after practising with the college magazine. I have learnt how to attract an audience when creating using the media techniques that professional magazines use. I have learnt different ways of how to represent the genre of your choice of magazine (creating a readership profile helped). I have developed my skills the most on the presentation, where to place things to catch the audiences eye, appropriate places for plugs etc. Overall, looking at my college magazine and then comparing it to my music magazine I think it has improved a lot. I think that there is a lot more detail and has more of a professional feel to it.PowerPoint Presentation: from to LOOKING BACK AT YOUR PRELIMINARY TASK, WHAT DO YOU FEEL YOU HAVE LEARNT IN THE PROGRESSION FROM IT TO FULL PRODUCT?
