I’d like to congratulate myself because I actually try to make this look like a legacy challenge for once, and because the title fits what happens in here just so good. Enough babbling, turn the page nao! Slide 2: Gabby had just left the registrar after receiving her diploma that acknowledged her as a Summa Cum Laude major in Psychology, she stepped outside and found a van waiting for her, inside was her fiancé Eric. Gabriella got into the van and turned to Eric. “Do you like it, girl? It’s big to fit all of our children.” the young man said cheerfully. “Our children… I guess it’s okay.” Gabby said half-heartedly. “Wait until you see our house.” Eric said, starting the engine. Slide 3: “Our house?” Gabby asked, her jaw had dropped open. “Yes, our house. It’s a little bit far away from downtown, but I don’t think that should cause us a lot of trouble.” Eric said, he turned to his fiancée and added “I don’t think it’s much, but I really hope we can make it grow through the years.” Gabby looked away from Eric and directly into the dashboard, she didn’t know what to do, she wasn’t really sure she wanted a life with Eric but it would be bad to let him go after it being her who proposed to him. Slide 4: Eric drove nonstop for almost a day, the road eventually became isolated and there was nothing but plains around it. Early the next morning, Eric finally pulled into a driveway literally in the middle of nowhere, Gabby soon stepped out and looked into the nothingness. Slide 5: Eric also stepped out of the car, his soon-to-be-wife didn’t manage to see his smile of satisfaction as he closed the door, her attention was instead focused on someone who was sitting in the stairs that led into the house. Slide 6: “Hi there, can I help you?” Gabby asked the man politely, he seemed really familiar. “Yes, you can. I’m looking for a princess I’ve been told lives here.” the man said, chuckling. “Very funny, sir. I’m engaged and I’ll soon be Mrs. Woodrow so if you please will step away from our front porch, I will really appreciate it.” Slide 7: “Engaged, you say? That is going to be a problem, then.” the man said, his brown eyes locked into the young girl’s amber ones. “A problem? Mister, I really don’t have time for this.” Gabby said patiently. None of the two hadn’t noticed Eric had stopped cold on his tracks. Eric began backtracking his way slowly to the van, got in quickly and turned on the engine. Slide 8: “You really don’t recognize me, do you girl?” the young man said, he completely ignored Eric leaving in the van. “I don’t.” Gabby answered. “I’m Peter, your brother. Remember me?” he said, his voice sounded upset. “Oh my…” Gabby felt her heart beating faster and she began hyperventilating. “Calm down, princess. I’m excited to see you too.” Slide 9: “Gab, I’m so glad to see you again.” Peter said, pulling her into a hug. “I was worried when you didn’t respond to my letters.” “Letters? I didn’t get any.” she sighed. “I’m so happy to know you’re fine.” Peter said. “Yes, we’re together now.” Gabby said, she began tearing up but held her crying back. “I don’t know about you, but I want to catch up. How about we go inside?” he asked. Slide 10: The Kahn siblings didn’t find anything inside the household, so they had to sit on the carpet to be comfortable. “Geez, princess. You’ve grow quite a bit. You’re almost as tall as I am.” Peter said playfully. “You changed, I did too; you’re not the quiet, skinny boy with glasses I remember.” Gabby answered “Plus, all of us sims are the same height.” “I guess you’re right… breaking the fourth wall aside, I have a lot to tell you.” Peter told his sister, smiling from ear to ear. Slide 11: “Like what?” Gabriella asked “Did something happen to Mom?” “You didn’t get my letters, did you? Mom fell ill soon after you came here, I had to drop out of college to take care of her, not that I mind, though, things couldn’t have gotten any better.” “Better? Didn’t you say Mom was ill?” Gabby asked, worried. “Yes, but one day, I took her to the hospital for some routine exams and I met a girl there… her name’s Lyn and she’s amazing.” he said, a spark of affection adorned his deep voice. “Wow, that’s just great!” Gabby said, a bit depressed because she really didn’t have anyone she liked like that “Are you guys dating?” Slide 12: “Not quite.” Peter said “We’re actually married.” “Oh my! That’s amazing!” Gabby cried “For how long?” “It’s going to be two years in a couple of months, you’re actually an aunt already.” Peter said proudly. “Wait a minute, I missed a lot, what’s my…” “Nephew’s name? His name’s Glen, just like Dad. He was born a few weeks ago, actually.” “This is just too good to be happening, I… Eric told me you were dead, I believed him because nothing proved otherwise, I’m really sorry.” Slide 13: “I don’t blame you, you were just being logical, you had the chance to make a life for yourself. To get away from… from what happened when you were a kid.” Peter said, holding his back. “It’s not that, Peter. If you were dead, then I had nothing to go back for, everything I had was with me.” Gabby said. “What about Mom?” Peter asked. “I… actually, I never thought about her.” Gabby mumbled, a bit irritated “How did you find me, anyway?” “Some guy contacted me, his name was Ethan, he said you had been looking for me, he needed me to come because you were about to do something really stupid.” Slide 14: “Ethan… from Voulavent Society.” Gabby said surprised. “He said some Ian guy told him to look for me, he seemed like a really nice guy.” Peter said honestly “He told me you were going to marry a guy who was conning you, the poor fellow was about to burst into tears.” “Ethan? We’re probably not talking about the same guy, he’s always been very silent; I mean, he’s a good guy but he’s really quiet and distant.” “He didn’t sound quiet to me, princess.” Peter said “I think… you should ask him out.” Slide 15: The siblings got up, Peter ready to leave. “Let him know you’re still available, that he’s got a chance.” he whispered into his sister’s ear. “I’m not…” “You think he’s handsome?” “Yes, but…” “Then, what’s the problem?” he asked “I really need to get going now.” Slide 16: Hi once again, the weirdest things just happened to me in the past few months, I found out that Peter’s still alive and that my entire relationship with Eric was just a hoax, one I willingly carried on with despite the warnings from some of my friends. Eric obviously ran away like the coward he is, and Peter asked me to give an… well, he’s not my friend, but he’s not an acquaintance either, he’s a classmate more or less. Anyhow, Peter said the guy sounded a bit worried about me and I could say he asked me to talk to him. Against my better judgment, I went downtown with him today. Slide 17: We had arranged a meeting at the 1:25 café at noon, it seemed right at the time but the more I sat in a bench outside the café, the more idiotic I felt. I just couldn’t help but keep thinking “I shouldn’t be here”. Slide 18: I was looking to the café’s clock that hung on the entrance, it always read 1:25, so it was more of a nervous thing than anything else. “Gabby, I’m sorry I’m late.” he said, startling me. Slide 19: “Don’t worry, it’s all right.” “No, I’m late and I made you waste your time, I apologize.” “It’s unnecessary, do you want to go in right now or do you want to talk for a bit?” “I wouldn’t mind talking for a bit.” Slide 20: For about four hours, Ethan and I sat down in front of the café, I talked and he just listened, he offered me his shoulder to cry on and I felt much better, he turned out to be a really good listener. He walked me over to the hotel I was staying at and I just kept on babbling, he listened and even intervened a few times to give me a few words of support. I hated it when I was a kid and I hate it now: Peter’s always right, I like Ethan. Slide 21: “So... I guess you should get inside, right?” he said, as he stared directly into my eyes. “I guess… I would invite you inside, but there seriously isn’t even cable TV in my room.” I answered. “Do you think we could go out some other time? You know, some dinner or maybe a movie?” “I think it would be nice to go out, I’m glad you didn’t find my babbling boring.” I said. Slide 22: “Are you joking? You’re one of the most interesting girls I’ve met, not to mention the most beautiful of them all.” he said excitedly. “Beautiful?” I stuttered. “I’m sorry… was that out of place? I guess it was, I’m really sorry.” “No, it’s all right. I… I just never knew you felt about me that way.” I confessed. “Don’t worry about that, I’ll wait until you make your mind up.” he said. Incidentally, it didn’t take me long to make my mind up. Slide 23: A few months later, we got married in the very same house Eric had claimed to buy for me, it turns out that the Voulavent Society had tricked Eric into buying a house they owned in a faraway place, where they could protect me. Our wedding was held with only both of us as witnesses, we needed no more than that. I would have never imagined having one of the best moments of my life with only one person beside me. Slide 24: “I’m tired.” Gabriella muttered, she put her right hand up to her chin, thinking about what else to write “My story can wait a little while longer, can’t it?” she asked herself, looking down at her abdomen “I’m sure you will be worth it, and even if daddy wants you to be a boy, we both know girls are better that boys, right?” Slide 25: Gabriella took a long bath and dressed up in her PJs, Ethan worked during the nights and she usually waited for him awake, but she had found out she was pregnant a few days before while going to the doctor, as she had been feeling really tired. Gabby thought about the baby as she lay herself down to sleep, what would it be like? Would she be a good mother to it? For a few moments, these questions swirled her mind, but when her head contacted the pillow, Gabriella went into a deep slumber. Slide 26: “So you still live here? What a stupid girl, she could have been better of with me, after all, I know I’m better than that geek, Ethan.” a familiar, blonde man stood outside the house “I am certain Malcom will love this bit of information.” he said, a malevolent smile formed in his face. Slide 27: Eric had stood outside Gabriella’s house for the entire night, he knew exactly at what time Ethan arrived from work and hence the fact that she would be alone for most of the night. Eric then received a text message for him to go to an abandoned house in Bern, where he attended ready to give Malcom all the information he had requested. Slide 28: “Wow, this place is really messed up.” Eric muttered, as he stared into a paintless room with a floor of stone. “Now, where the hell is Malcom?” “You are seriously that numb-minded?” a young man behind him asked “I’d really advice you not to look back.” “Who are you?” Eric asked, following the order. “My name is irrelevant, what good does it do for a cow to know the name of its butcher, if steak will still be its destiny?” Ian asked ironically. Slide 29: “You’re not going to kill me, I’m protected.” Eric taunted. “Your god is dead in this place, and in here, nobody cares about you.” Ian said, going closer to Eric “Still, killing is below me… I do have the bad habit of making traitors suffer, though.” “Traitors? What have I done to you?” Eric asked. “Not me, one of my associates, if we must say. I will even dare to mention she’s my protégée.” Ian answered. “Oh, that bitch is yours?” Eric said, turning back. Slide 30: Eric lost his consciousness when Ian punched him square in the jaw, his body made a thud when it landed into the dusty floor. Ian then proceeded to throw him down a flight of stairs into the building’s basement. Slide 31: “Trash goes where it belongs.” Ian whispered to himself happily, he whistled while walking out of the building. Eric, meanwhile, lay knocked out cold in the stone, bruises from both Ian’s aggression and the fall down the stairs. Slide 32: Right, guys. Another really annoying episode comes to an end, next time, there’ll finally be story progression, kids, and stuff everybody wants to actually see while reading a TS2 story. I swear it will be longer, once I get over the urge of playing these guys all the way to the tenth generation. I do appreciate any suggestions you might have, feel free to comment at the thread you saw this from or directly in here. Bye! Slide 33: The truth behind Ethan and Gabby was in college, he was the only guy that Gabby ever heartfarted (aside from mailman Pao, but everybody loves mailman Pao), and she even flirted with him autonomously, hence obliterating the entire plot I had for my legacy and forcing me to go the exact opposite way from what I had planned. Thank you very much, Gabby! Slide 34: Random insertion of Sad Old Guy, he really deserves it for being so full of win, he does. In case you’re wondering how he did at poker, he pummeled. Slide 35: Eric, you asshole. Gabby woke up twice or maybe three times to pick the can up and avoid the roaches. Pregnant Gabby was difficult enough without the trashing, idiot. Slide 36: I don’t think I ever introduced my founder and her spouse, so here goes: Gabriella Kahn Family/Fortune Virgo (10/5/5/3/2) wanting to Graduate 3 children from college, she’s onto blonde, beardy guys that don’t wear glasses. She’s awesome because she made me change my entire plot (you must have noticed that), and she tends to be bipolar wants-wise, because she’s annoying like that. Slide 37: Ethan Royce-Kahn Knowledge/Fortune Sagittarius (2/3/9/7/4) wanting to become a Media Magnate. His OTH is Sports and he likes logical girls with glasses that aren’t unemployed. He snuck into my legacy and I really like the guy, because he’s awesome like that. You do not have the permission to view this presentation.
