Process for Adding a Quiz
Logon to WebCT (as Designer/Instructor)
Enter your WebCT Course
Add the ‘Quiz’ tool
Click Add Page or Tool
Click the link Quiz
Enter required information (Title, icon, etc…)
Click Add

Create a Questions database
Add Questions to database
Associate questions to the Quiz
Edit the Quiz release settings
Once Added, a column now shows in Manage Students

Instructor determines when to release the grades (flexible)

Process for Adding the Assignments tool
Logon to WebCT (as Designer/Instructor)
Enter your WebCT Course
Add the ‘Assignments’ tool
Click Add Page or Tool
Click the link Assignments
Enter required information (Title, icon, etc…)
Click Add

Outline the Assignment or import a file
Edit the Assignment Release settings
Once Added, a column now shows in Manage Students

Students now able to see released grades

Log into your WebCT course
Go to Manage Course, Manage Students
Show all Students
Download a text delimited (*.csv) file
Use with Excel, or Lotus (spreadsheet application)
Recommend waiting until registration cutoff

Log into your WebCT course
Go to Manage Course, Import student data
Find the text delimited (*.csv) file
Upload and import (*.csv) file into Manage Students
Make the necessary changes (Column type, etc…)
Release the Grades to your students

Standard Approval process via Departmental Administrator
Submit a standard form to Departmental Administrator, or
Submit spreadsheet to Departmental Administrator
There is no integration between the Gradebook on WebCT and Banner at this time

Request additional Designer or TA access
