“Pizza Box” Career Panoramas: 

'Pizza Box' Career Panoramas Rules and Guidelines

What’s It All About: 

The Arkansas Career Orientation Teachers Association (ACOTA) will sponsor a statewide contest for a 'Pizza Box Career Panorama.' The contest will be held once per year and entries will be judged at the summer in-service for Career Orientation teachers. The following guidelines will be used to select the winning project. What’s It All About

Rule 1:: 

Rule 1: Panoramas should be student made.

Rule 2: : 

Rule 2: Each teacher can submit two projects. The projects will be submitted at the summer in-service for CO teachers.

Rule 3: :

Rule 4:: 

Rule 4: The project should depict a career of interest for the student. It will include a one-half to one page summary of facts about the career (top of pizza box), and a three-dimensional display that illustrates the nature of the career (bottom of pizza box).

Rule 5:: 

Rule 5: The background of the pizza box should be decorated or covered in a style consistent with the nature of the career. Background is decorated according to the career. Background is decorated according to the career.

Rule 6: The project should be presented in a large, unused pizza box. (not super-sized)

Rule 7:: 

Rule 7: The state ACOTA officers will select the winners or designees, based on the rules. First Place!!

Rule 8: Judging will be based on creativity, originality, written style, and neatness.

Rule 9:: 

Rule 9: The top ten winners will receive certificates. In addition, there will be cash awards of $25 for first place, $15 for second place, and $10 for third place.
