Some / any / no & derivatives:some / any / no & τα παράγωγά τους Some: λίγο (για μη μετρήσιμα ουσιαστικά) ή μερικοί-ές-ά (για μετρήσιμα ουσιαστικά, συνήθως 3-4) There’s some tea in the cup. Υπάρχει λίγο τσάι στο φλιτζάνι. There are some biscuits on the table. Υπάρχουν μερικά μπισκότα πάνω στo τραπέζι.

Derivatives: Παράγωγα : 

Derivatives: Παράγωγα Someone / somebody: κάποιος Listen! Someone/Somebody is singing. Somewhere:κάπου I left my keys somewhere in the house but I can’t remember where. Something: κάτι There’s something wrong with this cake! Το some και τα παράγωγά του (someone/somebody, somewhere, something) τα χρησιμοποιούμε σε καταφατικές προτάσεις.

Any : 

Any Any: καθόλου (για μετρήσιμα & μη μετρήσιμα ουσιαστικά) I haven’t got any books. Δεν έχω καθόλου βιβλία. Have you got any money? Έχεις καθόλου λεφτά;

Derivatives: Παράγωγα anyone / anybody: κανένας I don’t know anyone/anybody called James Iron. anywhere: πουθενά Is there a bus station anywhere close to the hospital? anything: τίποτα Why are you shouting at me? I haven’t done anything wrong! Το any και τα παράγωγά του (anyone/anybody, anywhere, anything) τα χρησιμοποιούμε σε αρνητικές και ερωτηματικές προτάσεις.

No : 

No No: καθόλου (για μετρήσιμα & μη μετρήσιμα ουσιαστικά) There are no people at the park. Δεν υπάρχουν καθόλου άνθρωποι στο πάρκο. There is no time to study for the test. Δεν υπάρχει καθόλου χρόνος για να διαβάσω για το διαγώνισμα.

Derivatives: Παράγωγα : 

Derivatives: Παράγωγα Νο one / Νοbody: κανένας There is no one/nobody in the house. Νοwhere:πουθενά I’ve been nowhere during my Christmas holiday. Νοthing: τίποτα Turn the lights on! I can see nothing! Το no και τα παράγωγά του (no one/nobody, nowhere, nothing) τα χρησιμοποιούμε μόνο σε αρνητικές προτάσεις.

Νο & derivatives **ΠΡΟΣΟΧΗ** Στο no και τα παράγωγά του το βοηθητικό ρήμα πρέπει να είναι στην κατάφαση! There wasn’t anyone at the park. Δεν υπήρχε κανένας στο πάρκο. There was no one at the park. Δεν υπήρχε κανένας στο πάρκο.

Choose. : 

Choose. I haven’t got any / no apples. There’s anyone / someone in our garden. I can’t walk; There’s something / nothing in my shoe. Are there anyone / any sausages for me? “Where did you go last night?” “Anywhere” / “Nowhere”.
