Study PCS Punjab Civil services   and         PPSC Punjab Public service  Commission The Punjab Public civil Services refer to the state civil services and the permanent  state of the Government of the state or Punjab. This system is actually the  backbone of the executive machinery of the state.  According to the democracy the task of running the state administration relies  upon the elected people in power.  But the handful of ministers cannot be expected  to deal personally with the manifold problems of modern administration. Thus the  ministers lay down the policy and it is for the civil servants to carry out this policy.  Several policies are made to give result make the functioning run smoothly.  To appoint officers for Punjab civil services PPSC conducts civil exams every year.  There are certain rules and eligibility criteria passed by the authorization. If one  satisfies the eligibility rules and other requirements one can apply for the exam.  Public service commission is imagined as a liberal legal institution which is not an  interrogation to government or political nosiness or stimulated with the duty of  recruitment and maintenance of public services.

Roles of the Punjab Public service Commission Recruitments at the state level: Conduct civil service examination to recruit the officers for respective posts on the state level.  Publish Notifications:  The PPSC takes the responsibility of publishing the notifications as people prefer to have authentic information. Whatever news is there it comes from the website of   http://www.ppsc.gov.in/ PPSC first. Hence it aware the people if there are any changes or something new  related to the examination.  Give advice:  The PPSC offer advice on different matters referred by the governor  of the state. Perform Additional Functions:  PPSC takes the responsibility of performing  additional functions as per the orders of any local authority or another body of the  constitution.  Giving Annual Report:  Punjab Public Service Commission also pass annual  reports to the Governor which includes the work details of the state commission.
