Team Leaders Your best friend on event day Ensure you have their contact details Get in touch before Spring Cycle Talk to them on event day

Getting Ready Organise your travel Free public transport with your ID card Contact your Team Leader What to wear and bring? – pg 8 of Manual Comfortable clothes and enclosed shoes ID card Mobile Phone Camera Water and extra water!!! Returning volunteers wear your light green volunteer t-shirt and hat

Event Day – let’s go!:

Event Day – let’s go! Meet your Team Leader Sign in Receive T-shirt, hat and goodie bag Food pack Slip, Slop, Slap IF YOU ARE RUNNING LATE CALL OR TEXT YOUR TEAM LEADER Into volunteer position Communicate with your Team Leader regularly Breaks – ask your Team Leader first End of your shift – last rider will pass and your Team Leader will let you know your volunteer role has finished Sign Out with your Team Leader Ride to the finish for FREE!

Issues on Event Day Point of Contact Team Leader Volunteer Team – 0477 499 130 Emergencies and Incidents Notify your Team Leader If an Ambulance is required call 000 directly Assist in any necessary steps to limit risk to yourself, other volunteers, riders and members of the public Do not put yourself in harms way Fill out an Incident Report form – Team Leader has these Emergency vehicles must have clear access at ALL times Evacuation – your Team Leader will advise you and prepare for a possible evacuation

Issues on Event Day First Aid Notify your Team Leader if you or someone else needs First Aid St Johns Ambulance are at all event sites and riding first aiders Complaints Direct patrons to BNSW Info Tent at an event site Thank the person for bringing it to your attention Notify your Team Leader and fill out a Complaint Form If you are having difficulty with a patron or you feel threatened contact your Team Leader immediately Look after each other and everyone will have a great day 
