Slide 2: UNITED WE STAND, DIVIDED WE FALL ALL FOR ONE, ONE FOR ALL SHARING IS CARING CARING IS SHARING Slide 3: South Africa is recently facing increasing racial tension fueled by negative publicity. Some newspapers even talk about the end of the rainbow nation. This has an extremely negative impact on South Africans. More so since we as ordinary citizens know that it is not true: as we go about our daily tacks like going to work and shopping we realize how much goodwill there is among people of all races in our beautiful country. SHARING IS CARING CARING, IS SHARING is a large scale employment creation project striving towards bringing a positive message to counter negative publicity. The main aim is to use the many unemployed attached to homeless shelters and disabled persons in sheltered employment centers to manufacture and package uniquely designed handbag/bag/computer bag snatch prevention straps (see slide 9), cell phone lanyards, bumper stickers etc. with the SHARING IS CARING, CARING IS SHARING logo. This logo is based on the Fable of Aesop’s (see slide 5) carrying a message of unity and goodwill imprinted on a plastic /metal key ring (slides 4-7). This project’s marketing strategy is based on selling these products to big and small businesses able to distribute it for free of charge to unemployed street vendors. Businesses could also for a small fee ($1) sell the products to individuals wishing to give it to someone or distribute it to the poor to show that they care. Alternatively products could also be given or sold as memorabilia to overseas visitors to the 2010 Soccer Cup (see slides 6 an 7). Slide 4: . SHARING IS CARING CARING IS SHARING Slide 5: A lion tried many times to attack 3 bulls that lived together as brothers, but when he came near they turned their tails to one another, so that he was met by the horns of one of them. But the cunning lion started a fight among them when he wanted to know which one the bulls was the strongest. The bulls started quarrelling and got so angry at one another that each of them went off to a separate corner of the field. Then the lion came and killed them one by one. The cord is double folded and both loose ends are securely fastened around a secure hook with a screw. This hook is then clipped onto the ring fastening a handbag handle to a handbag (see sides 7 and 8).
