Every year from the 21st till 22nd of March all tajik people celebrate Navruz holiday. Navruz is one of the oldest holiday of Tajikistan. It symbolizes the coming of the spring. We can say that the nature is wake up from it’s sleep. From this day the night and day become equal. The word “Navruz” consist of two tajik words, which are :”Nav”-new and “Ruz”-day. So they means New day. Also from the beginning of Navruz, people begin their work in farms.: Navruz is one of the oldest holiday of Tajikistan. It symbolizes the coming of the spring. We can say that the nature is wake up from it’s sleep. From this day the night and day become equal. The word “Navruz” consist of two tajik words, which are :”Nav”-new and “Ruz”-day. The meaning of Navruz The meaning of Navruz: The meaning of Navruz Thus Navruz is the beginning of the new year, of the new wonderful life, of the new believes and new happiness. In this year in our town there are a lot of interesting competitions and measuresTraditions in Navruz: Traditions in Navruz It is tradition in Navruz. Usually the family celebrate it with national food which called Sumanak. Sumanak cooks from night till morning. Each member of the family must combine it no less than ones. Navruz Public Merry makings: Navruz Public Merry makings Also it is holiday public merry makings .A lot of people go to the work to the park on Navruz .On that day you can see hundreds of people, young and old, who are very happy. Also girls and women have on national dresses – Atlas, which is very beautiful. Celebrations of Navruz.: Celebrations of Navruz. Navruz is celebrate in all places. For example in schools. There are the day of flowers. That flowers are in blossom only in Navruz. Also it is a meeting, in which director of school congratulate all pupils and teachers with Navruz. Navruz program: Navruz program In this year in our town there are a lot of interesting competitions and measures. This measures will be in our town from 21st till 24th of March: 1.Meeting in all factories, plants and offices of the town. 2.Chess competition 3.Public merry makings in the parkNavruz program: Navruz program 4.Sumanak and National Tuy of poor children 5.
