What Pressure should be set?:

What Pressure should be set? Hot Cold Circulator Expansion Tank Check Valve Drain & Fill Valves Heat Exchanger in or around the tank Pressure Gauge Control 2.31 ft. = 1 p.s.i. 1 P.S.I. = 2.31 ft.

Steps:

Steps 1. Reverse Flush system: Piping Heat-exchanger Collector Leave it full of clear clean water 2. Mix heat transfer fluid 3. Fill from bottom of collector to top

Fill from Bottom to Top:

Fill from Bottom to Top Hot Cold Circulator Expansion Tank Check Valve Drain & Fill Valves Heat Exchanger in or around the tank Pressure Gauge Control Fill while circulator pump is running 1 P.S.I. = 2.31 ft.

Steps:

Steps 4. Circulate until all air is removed Fluid will change color -no bubbles 5. Close valve on drain side 6. Fill pump will pressurize system 7. Run until proper pressure setting 8. Close valve on pump side Should be set at proper setting

Pressure drop when running:

Pressure drop when running Hot Cold Circulator Expansion Tank Check Valve Drain & Fill Valves Heat Exchanger in or around the tank Pressure Gauge Control Cap boiler drains Take off handle 1 P.S.I. = 2.31 ft. Pump

System start-up:

System start-up Test Controller Sensor Test Low resistance = High temperature Short collector sensor = no resistance short = high temperature = pump run Remove short = stop pump
