Excellent work Ebitssam, I enjoyed the comparison of dental to medical record requirements (i.e. reimbursements, documentation styles). The CAD-CAM system was very interesting too, would love to watch it work!

Limitations of Current EOHR’s Standards Transmission of patient's record for consultation or to a new health care provider Transmit and receive patient radiographic and photographic images Receive medical test reports from medical laboratories. Sharing critical medical and dental information between medical and dental practitioners treating the same patient. Inclusion in national taxonomies as well as in diagnostic and treatment coding systems. Inclusion in standardized care documentation systems to facilitate interdisciplinary communication, long-term care outcomes assessment, and clinical research.
