We are going through Projects 1 – 5 concurrently
You need not go through them in order
Goal: practice one skill through filling one role per meeting
Competent Leadership – First Five Projects :Competent Leadership – First Five Projects Project 1: Listening and Leadership
Project goal is to determine your listening skills, identify the steps to better listening, and practice listening skills in meetings.
To complete project, you must serve in all 3 of these meeting roles (Speech Evaluator, Table Topics Speakers, Grammarian/Ah-Counter)
Serve the role with a focus on your listening skills
Competent Leadership – First Five Projects :Competent Leadership – First Five Projects Project 2: Critical Thinking
Project goal is to determine your thinking skills and practice critical-thinking skills in meetings.
To complete project, you must serve in 2 of these 3 meeting roles (Speech Evaluator, Grammarian/Ah-Counter, General Evaluator)
Serve the role with a focus on your critical-thinking skills
Competent Leadership – First Five Projects :Competent Leadership – First Five Projects Project 3: Giving Feedback
Project goal is to determine your skills in giving feedback, identify the steps in giving feedback effectively, and practice giving feedback in meetings.
To complete project, you must serve in all 3 of these meeting roles (Speech Evaluator, Grammarian/Ah-Counter, General Evaluator)
Serve the role with a focus on your skills in giving feedback

Project goal is to determine your current time-management skills, identify the steps to effectively manage time, and practice time-management skills in meetings.
To complete project, you must serve in 2 of these meeting roles (Timer (required) Toastmaster, Speaker, Grammarian, Table Topicsmaster).

Project goal is to determine your current planning and implementation skills, identify the steps in the planning and implementation process, and practice planning and implementation in meetings.
To complete project, you must serve in 3 of these 4 meeting roles (Speaker, General Evaluator, Toastmaster, Table Topicsmaster).
