Ask for an ID Before letting service people into your home. Don't let strangers in. If someone needs help, offer to call the police while the person waits outside. Call 9-1-1 : Call 9-1-1 If you hear noises or see anything suspicious near your home. Don't feel awkward; this is what the police are trained to do.
