Premium member Presentation Transcript Task Analysis Hand WashingTeaching target skills of hand washing with the incorporation of visual supports : Task Analysis Hand WashingTeaching target skills of hand washing with the incorporation of visual supports Diana Salas-Deitch Slide 2: Task analysis is a process of breaking down a chained behavior (task) into a sequence of its component steps needed to accomplish the specific task. Slide 3: Task analysis The Special Educator can choose to teach the skills from the beginning step and work in an ordinal fashion as the student is guided step-by-step. Slide 4: Task analysis With the use of visual aids, a Special Educator can help teach each target skill from any of the broken down components which make up the hand washing task. The Special Educator can teach targeted skills from a task analysis of hand washing, as illustrated here.
