What materials are recyclable?: What materials are recyclable? Paper Plastics Aluminum Glass Electronics Paper: Paper Paper products that can be recycled are: Newspaper Boxes Office paper Plastics: Plastics Plastic materials that can be recycled are: Soft drink bottles Milk containers Water bottles Laundry detergent containers Aluminum: Aluminum Aluminum materials that can be recycled are: Soft drink cans All aluminum cans recycled since 1972 would stretch from New York to Los Angeles and back 15,939 times. Glass: Glass Glass materials that can be recycled are: Clear glass bottles Green glass bottles Amber glass bottles Recycled Products: Recycled ProductsTypes of Collection: Types of Collection Curbside Recyclable materials are regularly collected from each home at or near "the curb." Drop-off centers Locations in a community where recyclables are accepted for collection. One-time Events Annual or periodic collection of hazardous waste and electronics. Contamination: Contamination Certain Plastic Containers supermarket deli or restaurant takeout containers If a plastic item does not have a 1 or 2 within the recycling symbol, then it CAN NOT be recycled. Styrofoam supermarket deli or restaurant takeout order containers Plastic Bags Do NOT put your recyclables (newspapers, glass, tins, etc.) in plastic. We Can Be Recycled Too!: We Can Be Recycled Too!
