A PDA ( Personal Digital Assistant) is basically a small computer that can be used for administrative applications, communication and collaboration, and teaching and learning applications. A PDA may also be referred to as a handheld device, a Palm, or a Pocket PC. Designing the Presentation: -
If you have a particular subject in mind, building the presentation to compliment your lecture in that area would be practical. If you do not, a hypothetical presentation will also work for this tutorial. Loading the Presentation to Your PDA: -
Once you have charged and oriented your PDA it is time to install the desktop software for your handheld and Margi system. Setting Up the Hardware: -
Once the Mobile Presentation (PowerPoint file) has been transferred to the PDA, you can take the PDA to your teaching location, connect it to a projector, tap on the Presenter-to-Go icon and deliver the color presentation. Additionally, the presentation can be operated from anywhere in the room via the Margi remote control.
Slide 4:Uses of PDA Are you one of those people that have seen your friends, family, and co-workers using PDA's and you want one but you aren't sure why you would need one? Chances are there is some part of your life where a PDA would be useful. The first thing to remember is that you might not really need a $600 iPAQ when a $200 PDA would better suit your needs. More and more applications are being built to help students and teachers in the classroom. One of the simplest applications of PDA's in the classrooms is for taking digital notes. Why are digital notes better then just plain paper notes?
Spell check, grammar check, and quick revision are just a few plus sides to digital notes. Many PDA's also allow you to make voice recordings, which are very helpful for re-listening to lectures. In meetings is another great place to have a PDA. Most of the reasons for having one in meetings is the same as the educational uses.

Slide 6:Future Trends The use of PDAs has visibly increased and in the applications which work with them so that a range of functions from accessing e-mail accounts and the Internet to sending faxes and digital images have become commonplace.
Importantly, it is the PDA's ability to enable work in different environments and for different purposes that is allowing individuals and organizations to go beyond traditional computing and information seeking infrastructures. This ability is extending these boundaries to the benefit of personal and business applications.
