Slide2 : The learning objectives are: To secure the understanding of the structure and style of non-chronological reports. To use ICT to write NCR. To be able to produce a Power Point presentation about the Olympic games. To appreciate a range of sources of information can be used to find out about Ancient Greece. To understand the reasons for note taking and to make notes for different purposes.

The Olympic games is an athletic event held in honour of the god, Zeus. It usually lasts five days. People come from all over Greece to compete in or watch the events.
Slide4 : The Olympic games were held to impress their gods. The Olympic games were held to celebrate sporting prowess. It was also a way of getting fit for wars and their gods. It was a festival as well.
Slide5 : The events included: boxing, wrestling, discus-throwing, javelin-throwing, long-jump, running and chariot races. If you broke any rules, you would be severely punished. Wars were even postponed for three months.
