LRC borrowing information : 

LRC borrowing information You must not allow anybody else you loan items with your ID card You must not take items out for other learners. Any items taken out with your ID card will be your responsibility until they are returned

Library OPAC: 

Library OPAC What is the OPAC? An Online Public Access Catalogue (often abbreviated as OPAC or simply Library Catalogue) is an online database of all items that are available in the LRC. How do I use the OPAC? Just follow the link from the Library’s Moodle page, for more information see our Library Guides on Moodle.

Renewals & Fines: 

Renewals & Fines Items can be renewed by telephone or in person, provided that they are not required by someone else. Fines are charged if items are returned after the date stamp on the date label. The following rates apply: Standard loans £0.30 per week 7 Day loans £0.30 per day Overnight loans £0.50 per day

Reservations and Requests: 

Reservations and Requests If an item that you want is on loan or is not in our stock, fill in a request form and hand it to the library staff. Please include as much detail as you have. If the item is part of our stock and is on loan, we will reserve the item for you. If it is not part of our stock then we will try to get it for you from other libraries.

Reservations and Requests RECALLED LOANS If another user reserves an item that you have on loan we may recall it. Please return items when asked to do so.

Resources: 

Resources The LRC has almost 30,000 different items that are available. Most of them can be borrowed but there are some items that are marked REFERENCE or NO LOAN and these must stay in the LRC.

Resources - photocopiers There are photocopiers in both LRCs. To use them you will need to purchase a copy card at the following prices :- £0.70 - 10 copies £2.50 - 50 copies £4.00 - 100 copies De Montfort Campus has a colour copier

Resources - Computers Computer/internet access is provided at both sites. Your tutor will organise a log-in for you. Failure to produce your student ID card will result in access to the computers being denied.

Resources - Stationery There are items of stationery available for sale at both LRCs. Price lists are on display at the counter .

Resources As well as material to help you with your course, there is also a collection of other recreational matter including : Contemporary and Classic DVDs that are free to rent for two nights FREE!
