You may know us as CTAP. I would like to welcome you to CTAP’s first podcast. Slide 3: We would like you to know that the California Public Utilities Commission is launching a Pilot Program to put Jitterbugs into the hands of qualified Californians. The pilot is on a limited, first-come, first-served basis. Slide 4: If you qualify, the Jitterbug equipment is available to you at no cost. But you would be responsible for any costs associated with your chosen plan. Slide 5: To be eligible for this program: You need to be living in or near the cities of Fresno, Los Angeles, Sacramento, San Diego, San Francisco, or Santa Ana. Be CTAP-certified as blind, low vision, mobility-disabled, or cognitively-disabled. Be a current California LifeLine Participant. Slide 6: You may show your eligibility for the program AND qualify for the Jitterbug Phone during the field trial with one of the following: Slide 7: If you meet the criteria, you can apply to participate in the Wireless Technology Pilot Program.
