SOUTH COASTAL HOCKEY Game of the Week Rick Kelly- Rick is in his 7th season as the broadcast producer and color commentator. As a goaltender he was a member of the South Coastal Sharks Senior Championship teams of 1993 andamp; 1994 and helped lead the Blackhawk's of the classics division to their only championship In 2000. He retired as an active player in 2000 to join the broadcast team. One of the founders of the league he now serves as it’s president and majority owner. His playing time is now only in charity games as a member of The CVS\pharmacy all star traveling team. He is a member of the Leagues Hall of Fame. Bob Heyner Bob Heyner returns to give his extensive hockey background to the radio team for the 5th year. as color commentator. A 10 year active veteran of the league before his retirement he was one of the top 10 all time scorers with a record of 108 goals and 130 assists when he retired. He was a member of the South Coastal Kings Championship in teams of 1992 andamp; 1995 and helped lead the Grizzlies to a championship 2002. He has also regained the hearing in his right ear after having played on lokey's left wing for almost fifteen seasons. He retired as an active player in 2002 to join the broadcast team. He was elected to the Leagues Hall of Fame in 2004. Mark Ducharme- Mark leads the broadcast team for the 7th season as the broadcast play by play specialist.. A sport writer by trade you can read his articles in the Brockton Enterprise and all local community Newspapers. His broadcast history includes many radio stations and web broadcasts for over 15 years. He was elected to the league’s hall of fame in 2005. Art Riccio Art Riccio brings his experience and leadership to the broadcast as the post game analyst and color commentator. A 17 year active veteran of the league he is #11 in the top all time scorers. As a member of the South Coastal Blackhawk's he was the captain of the 2000 championship team. He also serves as the league commissioner and minority owner. He also the head coach of The CVS/pharmacy All-Star Celebrity hockey team the raises hundreds of thousands of dollars for charity's around the country for the past 7 years. He was a charter member of the Leagues Hall of Fame in 2001. Who are those guys on the broadcast team ? Major Contributors Other major contributors are Bill Sawtelle, league VP of player personnel who fills in as play by play and a very colorful commentator and Joe Callahan our in house broadcast director. Other staff include Jeff Riccio and John Hernon Jr. who assist in the production. Special thanks go to Greg'Doc' Smith and John Johnson who also contribute to the broadcast.
