Veterans’ light up the day : Anil Kumble and Rahul Dravid, who are labelled as Test players, came up with splendid performance to give Bangalore team a dream start. Veterans’ light up the day Pietersen won the toss : Pietersen won the toss Kevin Pietersen, charged by Mallya with the duty of turning around Bangalore's fortunes, decided to bat first and found himself facing a hat-trick ball in the very first over of the match – thanks to his Hampshire and England teammate Dimitri Mascarenhas taking two in two for Rajasthan.
