Premium member Presentation Transcript Slide 1: Constitution Education Foundation is a non-profit, non-partisan 501 c (3) organization dedicated to the Restoration of America’s Civil Foundation through Education Slide 2: Dr. W. Cleon Skousen, and the foundation he formed, the National Center for Constitutional Studies (NCCS), is the nation’s leading organization teaching seminars on the Founding Fathers and the United States Constitution. NCCS has generously given the Constitution Education Foundation authorization to facilitate “The 5000 Year Leap” and “The Making of America” workshops. Slide 3: “I know of no safe depository of the ultimate powers of the society but the people themselves; and if we think them not enlightened enough to exercise their control with a wholesome direction, the remedy is not to take it from them, but to inform their discretion by education. This is the true corrective of abuses of constitutional power” ---Thomas Jefferson Sept 1820 Slide 4: FACILITATED WORKSHOPS Our facilitated workshops are seminar-style with reading assignments that cover about 35 questions per session. Every session includes an open discussion with each student encouraged to share his/her answers. Our objective is to train facilitators for other groups who want to provide our constitutional Workshops for their members. Our goal is to spread these workshops across the country.
