As you know, the recent earthquakes, which caught us by surprise in a terrible way, caused a fair bit of damage. Up north, in Kyolok, we discovered that it damaged an ancient seal, which was said to have held a great malefic spirit responsible for the Wars of Old. I’m sure you’re familiar with the legends. Indeed. The great deity of evil, Consceleratus, purged the land of the Priests of Old and spread fear and bad luck all over. So... You’re saying that you believe this is all happening due to the release of this wicked spirit? Basically, yes. As supernatural as it sounds, it explains a lot of the odd events that have been happening these few months, and why they have mostly been targeted towards us.
