Major progresses: FYR of Macedonia – BiH -Albania: Major progresses: FYR of Macedonia – BiH -Albania FYR of Macedonia: Approved the law for splitting ESM in two separated companies: MEPSO: Transmission Grid owner and operation, System operation and Market operation ESM: still Generation, Distribution and supply companies Court registration for both the companies expected soon Bosnia and Herzegovina: Recently adopted the laws for the establishment of Independent Transmission Operator and single Transmission company Presently awaiting the official publication on the Gazette Albania: KESH unbundling in progress


Conclusions: Conclusions Some progresses achieved between 3rd and 4th AF Step forward in FYR of Macedonia – BiH and evolving situation in Albania Overview: BiH, Serbia, Montenegro and Albania TSOs still in vertically integrated companies Electricity law requesting accounts, management and legal unbundling still missing in Serbia Electricity law requesting submission, auditing and publishing annual accounts still missing in Serbia, Montenegro and FYR of Macedonia TPA not yet guaranteed in Serbia and FYR of Macedonia Market partially open in Romania, Greece, Bulgaria, Turkey and Croatia Unbundling process vital for market procedures establishment and implementation
