The Backstory :

The Backstory On 10/22/08 my son turned on the TV in the playroom. Cartoon Network was replaced by a message that said we needed to contact Comcast, we needed a digital receiver. What ensued was an hour “conversation” with Comcast. To be clear, I am a Comcast Digital Subscriber, however I only have one digital box in the house. Our other TV is regular cable. After an hour with Comcast I've learned the finer points of this magical conversion to digital TV. Comcast is ever so gracious and is going to magically convert the broadcast network's signals from digital to analog for their cable customers at no charge. What they won't do is run their regular cable networks (non broadcast) through this converter. Instead they will require that if we don't have digital cable now we upgrade to digital cable as well as pay a monthly fee per set for the digital converter. What this means for us, unless I pay Comcast another $4.99 we can’t have Cartoon Network (or any other Cable Network that converts to digital) on any TV without the converter. My seven-year-old son watched this transpire and felt compelled to make a cartoon. I’ve turned this into a little movie… ENJOY

Comcast Lied….. :
