By spreading HR-XML Consortium activity in Japan and expanding the number of members, we could increase the revenue. Main activities are 1. To plan to have an architects training meeting in May in Tokyo. 2. To promote the project activity as follows.

Slide5:

Projects 1.SIDES We had 13 meetings from July 11,’03thru Oct.21,’04 and were planning to make Japanese spec and sample of final phase toward the opening of Japanese version. Just then we heard that there was a proposal from the three companies, IBM, Manpower and Adecco, and we are at the moment in recess to discuss it. (cf. SIDES Roadmap in the page followed) 2.SEP Some Job-boards managed to start SEP late last year. SEP members are eager to open the spec by August of 2005 and bring it into practical use soon. (cf. SEP Roadmap) 3.Competency Some enterprises interested in ITSS (skill standard of IT technicians reported by the Japanese Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry) groups and individuals lead to set up the project. Key persons have had pre-meetings to make a project plan. They are thinking to propose their achievement to ISO/IEC as the final target. Attached are the material of the first pre-meeting.

In managing human resource, mutual operability of human resource information is inevitable in various activity such as employment, reshuffling of personnel, education, training, evaluation, treatment or carrier development. In managing human resource, we fix the object data schema and XML binding referring to the ability needed to realize the distribution and reuse of human resource information among the person in charge who use, register, change and manage the human resource information. As for the data schema and XML binding concerning the ability , we will have to discuss the necessary change and addition when utilizing in Japan and non-English speaking countries. Not only for the area discussing but also for the non-discussing area we will newly develop and propose them considering the condition in Japan. We will design, develop and popularize them as the information technology. Competency Project Scope

Slide9:

We fix our target on three types of data schema and XML binding such as ability recording information, ability defining information and ability system information. Regarding the ability recording information, we have to clarify the items to change and add after investigating the condition in Japan about HR-XML Competencies ver 1.2 . Then we will design and develop it as Japan Draft Competencies. Regarding the ability defining information, we will clarify the items to change and add after investigating the condition in Japan about IEEE LTCS RDCEO. The we will design and develop Japan Draft Competency Definition. Regarding the ability system information, we will cooperate with the project activity in HR-XML Consortium. We will then design the model which compose the ability system information and design and develop each model on the basis of analysis and investigation of ability system. Besides ability reference, there are system definition, job and ability definition, vocabulary definition and system structure definition in ability system information thought of.
