Preparation :
Preparation Before we started filming it was vital that everything to do with the characters was sorted. I was the main person in charge of mise-en scène so I set about designing and getting the characters hairstyles done and ready for filming.
Main Hair :
Main Hair The most important character was the Female character played by Jade Carey, meaning that I spent the most time in perfecting her characters hair. The first step I took was to make her hair style correspond to the characters personality. As a group we decided that the character was a free spirit and is quite girly, so I tried a number of different styles on her until I found the one that was the best, and the one that my group thought was the best also. Female Character First I used the hair straighteners to flick her hair out at the bottom. The then put some hair product in it to smooth it down and pined it back with clips. (a head band was also added). I then put some hair spray in her so it held it in. And here was the finished product. After the first try I decided that the style was ok, but could be better, so I began curling each part of her hair with a curling iron. I then added a small amount of product to smooth it down and put hairspray in so the curls held in place. Here is the finished product. In the end I decided that this hair style was the best one. I knew that this suited the character the best so there wasn’t any need for me to do any other styles. My group also agree with me. Choice
Main Hair :
Male Character With the male character, played by Dylan Meade, making a hair style wasn’t as difficult. I knew that the brief for the male character was that he had to be smart looking, so I was going to go for straight, smooth hair. Dylan, however, already had the hairstyle that I was going to make so I didn’t really have to do anything with his hair for the character. Here is the final product. Main Hair Choice

Other Hair :
Other Hair Choices Male Character For each of the scenes I kept the hair for the male character the same, straight and smooth. The actor, (Dylan), playing the main character already had his hair this way so I didn’t really have to do anything to it.
Conclusion :
In conclusion, with all of the hairstyles sorted, getting ready for filming will be much easier for the group to do. Conclusion Bibliography
