Ingredients:

Ingredients Apples finely chopped 350 grams Golden apricots finely chopped 200 grams Refined flour 300 gms + for dusting Butter 200 gms + for greasing Brown sugar 200 grams Eggs 4 Cocoa powder 3 tablespoons Instant coffee powder 1 tablespoon Cinnamon powder 1/2 teaspoon Baking powder 2 teaspoons Milk 100 ml Chocolate chips 200 grams

Method:

Method Step 1 Preheat oven at 170ºC. Grease a square cake tin with butter and dust with refined flour. Step 2 Cream together butter and brown sugar with the help of an electric beater till light. Step 3 Add eggs and beat again. Scrape the sides of the bowl and mix. Step 4 Sift together cocoa powder, coffee powder, cinnamon powder, refined flour and baking powder directly into the bowl. Beat again .

Step 5 Add milk and continue beating. Add apples, apricots and mix till well blended into a batter. Add chocolate chips and mix well. Step 6 Pour batter in the prepared cake tin, tap a little and put the tin the preheated oven. Bake for 75-90 minutes. Step 7 Remove from heat, cool and demould . Cut into slices and serve.
