What is Town on the Move: What is Town on the Move In 2004, following bidding process involving
51 towns, three towns chosen by Department
for Transport as sustainable travel
demonstration towns (Darlington, Peterborough
and Worcester)
Revenue funding of £3.24 million, spread over five
years, to reduce congestion through development of
sustainable transport initiatives.
