NATIONAL CONTEXT & STRATEGIC Laws : 5/2001, 2nd of March & 12/2001, 9th of July, On the promotion of women's stable work in professions or occupations with minor rate of feminine occupation. Benefits for the company: A bonus of 70% (social security/national insurance) during the first year contract. A bonus of 60% during the second year contract. Requirements: Being registered in the Job Centre during 6 months minimum. Or being over 45 years old. If one does not fulfill anyone of the requirements, the bonus will be 35 % during 24 months following the beginning of the contract

KEY TARGET GROUP: 

KEY TARGET GROUP The project is destined to inactive or unemployed women. We want to prioritize the attention to women with low educational level and that answer any of these three profiles: Women from 30 to 45 years with rigid family charges Women over 45 years old Immigrant women

KEY TARGET GROUP: 

KEY TARGET GROUP Women from 30 to 45 years with rigid family charges : Abandon of the labour market to take up the care of the children. Difficulties to work life balance. Women over 45 years old: Difficulties to return to the labour market due to gender inequality and the lack of qualification. Immigrant women : Low educational level. Little experience labour or not adapted to the demands of the country of reception.

UNDER-REPRESENTED SECTORS : 

UNDER-REPRESENTED SECTORS Study of the under- represented sectors : OBJETIVES: Identify which are the sectors where the women are under-represented. Define the “masculine” clusters of competence with predisposition to contract women. Design training actions in this clusters of competence, according to the results. METHODOLOGY: phase 1. Analysis of secondary sources: Stereotypes, topics and clichés Under-represented sectors & subsector. Companies of each sector.

UNDER-REPRESENTED SECTORS: 

UNDER-REPRESENTED SECTORS phase 2. Fieldwork: Identify in between 1 and 3 companies for sector/cluster to visit them. Contact with Human Resources Staff for interviews. Realize interviews according to a validated and tested explanatory text. Ask on the availability of collaborating in the project Igualem. Elaborate a list of the companies that answer affirmatively. phase 3. Study & results report. SCHEDULE: The run-time is three months and a half.
