Course Breakdown Chapter Quizzes – 135 points Application Modules – 190 points Total Points – 325 points NOTE: Grading scale on WebCT is the rule for the grade

Quizzes: 

Quizzes Computer-based Three attempts Designated Computers Highest attempt recorded 10 questions from text Multiple Choice Due dates and cut off times (15 minutes) on all quizzes listed in syllabus (electronically controlled) Maintain academic honesty

Application Modules: 

Application Modules Modules located on the WebCT homepage Hands on applications MS Office products, hardware and internet applications 190 points are the maximum you can get There are due dates on all. Sometimes have to do all of them – sometimes just 30 points worth sometimes 50. SAVE all work Due dates are critical - Almost always Tuesday at 11:00 am

Grades QUIZZES 12 quizzes @ 10 points each + 1 quiz at 15 points = 135 points APPLICATION MODULES 190 points – you can only get 50 on the last set 325 points possible!

Grading Scale Grade          Points A  292 - 325 B  260 - 291 C  227 - 259 D  195 - 226 F  194 and below   Points are NOT rounded up. There are no minus “-” grades

EDU 214 A technology course designed to help successfully complete the Electronic Portfolio Assessment. Teacher productivity software, multimedia applications, presentation software. Required course for those on the 2005 catalog Must pass the screening exam or get a “C” or better in this course. If you want to switch to EDU 214: YOU MUST TAKE THE QUALIFYING QUIZ BY September 5th at 11:00 am!! This is optional!!!!!
