A user friendly and cost effective method of Licensing, Using and Updating ENC charts in SENC format onboard vessels, which of course will ultimately increase sales and.... Safety Onboard Lets look at ENC Today: Lets look at ENC Today Coverage needs to be pre-ordered based on estimated needs and requirements over a changing period of time (operating areas etc.) Licenses need to be transfered to the vessel for each ENC cell required New, replaced and deleted ENC cells cause logistical problems in the office and on the vessel Non cost effective – opening many ENC’s for a pre-defined amount of time is an expensive business Conclusion: A complicated system = LOW UPTAKE and LOW SALES! ENC using Dynamic Licensing: ENC using Dynamic Licensing All charts, updates and licenses available onboard and ready for use. When you need a chart it is available in seconds ENC’s licensed as required Licenses for new and replaced charts transfered automatically via C-MAP Update Service Automatic reporting of usage via the C-MAP Update Service Controlled costs via pre-set budgets and spending limits Conclusion: A user friendly and cost effective system= HIGH UPTAKE, HIGH SALES and INCREASED SAFETY So what is Dynamic Licensing?: So what is Dynamic Licensing?
