The Health Environment Study: 

The Health Environment Study Questionnaire released via newspapers and Internet Self-reported questionnaire released on Beijing Evening News, The First, and Sohu Web site to develop the first large-scale survey (April – June, 2005) 10,496 people participated in this survey and provided valued baseline data Beijing residents expressed their attention to the Olympic Games by various methods Relationship between the Olympics and people’s health broadened through propaganda (prevailing news media)

The Typical Community Study Selecting a typical community and subjects Community selected Yayuncun (population 60,000) in Chaoyang district According to principle of free will, more than 1,200 people aged 15 and above were selected from 400 permanent resident families and 400 temporary resident families First investigation of subjects and interview to select some managers were carried out in November of 2004 to establish baseline
