About cardataquest: 

The future brings an increasing need for automotive forecasting tools and product databases. AluMag®Automotive Marketing GmbH has named its business activities within automotive production forecasting and system studies “cardataquest”. Since 1994, we maintain and execute single (exclusive) and multi client studies for component and system suppliers. A continuing trend towards platform and model spanning vehicle developments, and thereby an increased filling of the niches, underlines the importance of reliable forecasting tools as well trend analyses. For more than 10 years, we are serving automotive component- and system suppliers with our automotive production forecast and material, process, system and component analysis.   In the course of the daily research AluMag® is in steady contact to suppliers and consultants. A strong research in international online and offline media confirm the convincing quality of the AluMag® forecast figures. In the past AluMag mainly served automotive metal and non ferro processing companies as well as module suppliers. But during the last four years AluMag has elaborated a number of non material and process orientated market and trend analysis. About cardataquest

Jost Gärtner’s Profile : 

Jost Gärtner has done the vocational baccalaureate diploma. After his apprenticeship as mining technician with the Deilmann and Haniel GmbH he entered the “Fachhochschule Bergbau” (technical collage mining) in September 1986 up to December 1989 where he majored in mining and graduated in civil engineering in December 1989. He did his student research project in South Africa from July to October 1988 with Buffelsfontain Gold Mining Corporation with the subject “Alternative expansibility in the South-African gold mining”. He worked out his diploma thesis one year later in South Africa and Germany in cooperation with Klöckner Becorit Corp., Gebhardt & König GmbH, Chamber of Mines Res. Organisation and Hartebeestfontein Gold Mining Co Ltd. After one and a half year of experience as marketing trainee at Austria Metall AG in Germany, Austria and France, he worked for two years as Product Manager Europe in Munich and Tönder (Denmark) by Hydro Aluminium Automotive Structures GmbH. He reported directly to the General Manager World Wide. Jost Gärtner’s Profile In 1994 he founded the Aluminium Automotive Marketing Gärtner. Subject of this one-person business is marketing, sales and distribution concerning the automotive lightweight construction with aluminium applications. In 1999 he started up the AluMag Automotive Marketing GmbH with the main activities in sales services, key accounting and the execution of market studies concerning automotive applications. AluMag works today with 5 employees. Since the research activities became the main part of the business, the name cardataquest.com has been created.
