Objectives: Objectives To understand commercial recreation To understand the link between commercial recreation and entertainment industry To experience the operation of a Fortune 500 company To examine recreation philosophies in other cultures To better understand planned travel


Airfare: Airfare Investigate major airlines early !!! Check Discount Services: Orbitz Expedia Cheap ticket Student universe.com Call airline direct Check the newspaper for sales Try to travel with a partner


Transfers: Transfers Make arrangements for Drop off and Pick up from the airport Use Disney Transportation to and from airport (No charge) Always give yourself ample time - allow 2 hours Airport Security is strict and does not allow you to carry sharp objects, weapons, illegal drugs Remember to cooperate with inspections


Lodging: Lodging Disney’s Coronado Springs Four to a room ($90 per night per room) Full Amenities: Pool, Hot tub, Two dinning areas, Four Bars, Shops, Free transportations around Property.


Food: Food Several restaurants in hotel and around property Plan on $50 per day for meals: $ = $10 - 15 $$ = $20 - 30 $$$= $35 – 45 $$$$= Fine Dining Can eat cheap in the park Bring bottle water and snacks


Park Passes: Park Passes Each student may receive one free park hopper pass for admission to all four parks for the day Additional Passes can be purchased at a discounted price. $63.00 per Park $103.00 Park Hopper Honor Students maybe given additional Park Hopper Pass


Report: Report The assignment is designed to enhance your knowledge and enjoy your experience Complete all parts of the assignment and take pictures Digital reports are encouraged The assignment maybe done in teams of two if you both study the same country
