If your hair is freshly washed, it won’t hold as well. : This type of style works best on slightly dirty hair. If your hair is freshly washed, it won’t hold as well. 1) Work a small amount of a hair wax or pomade through your hair. : 1) Work a small amount of a hair wax or pomade through your hair. I use Manipulator by Bed Head. 2) Taking the section of hair at the crown, tease it slightly, then twist it until around and up so that the ends are pointing up and out.
